Supplier Days 2024 will take place Monday, March 4 through Wednesday, March 6 at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel in Arlington, VA.  The 33rd Annual SIBC Suppliers Days will highlight the key submarine program initiatives and the importance of workforce development for the Submarine Industrial Base. Now more than ever, the Submarine Industrial Base’s role is critical to maintaining dominance in the undersea domain. We hope that you will join us for this important event.  

For scheduling purposes here is a tentative schedule of events for Suppliers Days 2024*: 

Monday, March 4        Welcome Reception (Optional)               5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. 

Tuesday, March 5       

        SIBC Briefings                                                                                  1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.        

        Networking Event                                                                            5:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M.        

        SIBC Dinner                                                                                        6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. 

Wednesday, March 6  Congressional Breakfast & Meetings   8:00 A.M.

*GDEB and HII-NNS Supplier Meeting: Similar to last year, GDEB, joined by HII-NNS, will conduct individual and group discussions with active suppliers.

If you are interested in scheduling a meeting, you must contact your GDEB buying manager or Hanna Mellaly (hmellaly@gdeb.com).

Welcome Reception:  This will be an opportunity for the suppliers to reconnect and discuss industry updates and initiatives. This event is optional.

SIBC Supplier Day Briefings: The briefings will provide important updates on the U.S. Navy submarine programs and industry initiatives.

Networking Event: This event is a great chance to network with your colleagues in the industry.

SIBC Dinner:  The dinner will include two keynote speakers one from the Department of Defense and one Member of Congress.  

Wednesday, March 6, 2024

Congressional Breakfast and Meetings: The congressional breakfast, where suppliers will have the opportunity to meet with members of Congress and their staff, will be held in the Cannon Caucus Room. Following the breakfast, SIBC members should plan to attend scheduled meetings with their U.S. Senators and Representatives to advocate for support of the essential submarine-related legislative priorities

All Congressional meetings are scheduled by the SIBC. A consultant will accompany you to meetings.

Hotel Room Block: The room block is full at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel. There are still rooms available outside the room block. Additionally, there are rooms available at the Residence Inn Arlington Capitol View (located next door) and at the Courtyard by Marriott Arlington (located across the street).
